Freelancer TOS - The Social Hunch

1. Introduction

By applying to become a member of our premium freelancer roster, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Freelancer,” “you,” or “your”) and The Social Hunch (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully before applying.

2. Eligibility

To join our premium freelancer roster, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a contract.
• You must have the necessary skills, qualifications, and experience required for the services you offer.
• You must complete our rigorous evaluation and testing process and be approved by our team.

3. Application and Approval Process

To become a premium freelancer, you must:

• Complete the application form accurately and provide truthful information.
• Successfully complete our evaluation process, which may include interviews, tests, and reference checks.
• Agree to provide all necessary documentation to verify your identity, qualifications, and experience.
• Receive approval from our project manager or consultant.

4. Project Opportunities

As a premium freelancer, you will have access to project opportunities posted on our platform. These opportunities will be assigned to you based on your skills and qualifications. However, project assignments are not guaranteed, and you are not obliged to accept any project.

5. Commission

As a premium freelancer, you agree to the following financial terms:

• There are no fees to access our platform.
• If you are selected for a project, we will charge a commission of 30% of the project’s total fees. This commission will be deducted from your earnings.

6. Project Engagement

If you are selected for a project, you agree to:

• Fulfill the project requirements within the specified timeframe.
• Maintain open communication with the assigned project manager.
• Provide regular updates on project progress.
• Deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

7. Payments

We will process payments for your completed projects in a timely manner. Payment terms and methods will be communicated to you for each project. You agree to provide accurate payment information and understand that failure to do so may result in delayed payments.

8. Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality

You acknowledge that you may have access to sensitive client information. You agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client projects, information, and intellectual property you may come into contact with during your engagement.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your membership in our premium freelancer roster at any time, with or without cause. You may also choose to leave the roster at any time by notifying us in writing.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and the Services provided herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Odisha, India, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
